I began practicing yoga in 2008, taking classes in college and studios around the Omaha area. My yoga journey really began after running into Mary Clare Sweet at a yoga class in 2009. I jumped on board with opening the first Lotus House of Yoga and roughly 6 months later enrolled in Lotus House of Yoga's 200 hour teacher training program. It was at that point that yoga became a way of life for me. I am passionate about living a healthy, well-balanced life full of meaning, growth and an abundance of love. My classes are inspired by the subtle movements of breath and the idea that when we interact with our breath and surroundings we transform energy from electrical impulses to physical vibration. My hope is that everyone leaves class shifted, that they are able to connect with the collective energy, adding to their own experience. My mantra is attitude of gratitude and I have been blessed to have such amazing teachers, students, friends and family that have shown me love and inspiration along the way.
